Gabe and Tess talk about Cat over the station’s coffee area. Cat comes over
and thanks Gabe for trusting her. She then kisses him in plain view of everyone
at the precinct. Gabe realizes that his decision to let Cat control her own
professional and personal destiny without interference from him might have paid
off. He touches his lip after she left. He touches his lip to make sure it was
real, or as if he could still feel her. It meant a whole lot to Gabe, but what
did it mean to Catherine? I’d guess
gratitude and another chance to assert her independence and feel what
possibilities are out there in a life beyond Vincent. Said that, two things annoyed me:Tess pro
“Team Gabe” and to kiss Gabe where the entire precinct could see and
Gabe introduces Cat and Tess to FBI Agent Dana Landon. She
shows them a dead body, Mara Angel a professional thief, that appears to look like
Cat.The other thieves don’t know Mara is
dead so she wants Cat to go undercover and take her place.
Gabe comes to Cat’s apartment and returned
her badge after it was taken by the FBI due to holes in her story of Reynold’s
arrest and her cover-up of Vincent’s shooting.
Reynolds had helped Gabe to sneak the bullet out of evidence and solve
the problem. Well, that and…….. to lure her into a coffee date with him as
well as planting the seed that Agent Reynolds still cares about her.😡
Strangely, Thanksgiving dinner proceeds anyway. Bob says he’s hungry, and his staff prepared a pretty awesome-looking meal. Tori
starts telling Bob her instructions but Reynolds is sure everything is good and
they’re all on the same side now that Vincent has agreed to leave Cat alone. Bob
throws in a pure mean toast about “loving someone means staying away”, which
is, apparently, what love is. But when
they are toasting Vincent and Tori accidentally touch again, and Vincent excuses himself from the table before
becoming full beast and goes to the orchard.
Tori is staring at her eyes in Gabe’s car mirror. Gabe comes out of the
house and tells Tori they need to stay so they can convince Reynolds that
Vincent “saved her”.🤔 She wanted to leave and… she didn’t seem particularly interested
in being around Vincent at that moment. However Gabe convinces her to agree to
At the Precinct, Gabe tells Tess that Vincent only has two
more missions and that he is concerned that Vincent is one of those missions.
Tess teases him about his crush but she does say he is honorable in wanting to
save Vincent even though he loves Catherine. Tess is rooting for Gabe to get
Catherine. My question is: “Why was Tess suddenly pro team Gabe?” I
totally dislike it!😡 Anyway, it looks
like JT is not in this episode because he is at a “retreat”. Tess is
tasked with going through both JT’s and Gabe’s research on Muirfield to find
Vincent’s handler so they can save his life when the time comes.
