Then Sam starts mocking Vincent for being a “pathetic
beast who is desperately trying to get his girl back”. This finally sends
Vincent over the edge and he beasts out on Sam.Vincent has Sam in a
stranglehold just as Gabe and Catherine arrive. Now, that was unfortunate. I
noticed that in this scene, JT fails to calm Vincent down, but as soon as
Catherine calls out his name, Vincent changes out of beastie mode in about a
Vincent and JT prematurely imprison Sam and locks
him up in the beast cage in the tunnels without any real evidence to hold him
there. Sam reminds them that he is trying to avenge his son [still not clear
from whom] and tells Vincent that he’s
partially responsible for Tory’s death.
At the end of their conversation, Gabe gives Cat a
key to his loft. Cat’s clearly stunned. She is still determined to show Gabe
that she has chosen him, even we can detect a hint of panic in her eyes when
Gabe offers her the key to his apartment.
When Cat, after coffee, returns to Gabe’s, Gabe shares
that his research into Sam continues to show just how slippery Sam is. Although
Gabe has no evidence on Sam to support a murder charge, he feels certain that
he can make a case for identity theft: they can’t exactly charge him with
“conspiracy to create beasts”! Once Sam’s in the slammer, Gabe can spend the
rest of Sam’s prison sentence building a case against him for murder. It is
actually a decent plan. Cat mentions that catching Sam will be a way to start
their beast-free life.
Vincent and JT are searching for Sam, by showing his picture to passerby, on the block they saw him on in the surveillance footage. JT tells Vincent he should use his beast senses to find him since this isn’t working. Although Vincent initially resists to using his beast sense to find Sam, JT sways him with advice that Vincent can’t completely deny his other half.
Cat has decided that she no will more letting her heart overrule her brain,
since that is a surefire way to get someone hurt. Cat’s very simplistic plan is
to catch Sam as fast as she can so she can stay away from Vincent and “focus on
Gabe”. If she can put Sam behind bars, there will be no more beasts, and less
beasts means less Vincent. So,while Vincent plans to bring her closer, she
plans to solve the Sam issue so that she can distance herself and focus on
Gabe. But how the fact of catching Sam
will magically going to change her feelings?🤔
